Arly Secures Fourth Consecutive EdTech Breakthrough Award
Competing against a field of 3,000 global nominees, Arly has claimed the 2026 AI Innovation Award from EdTech Breakthrough. This victory marks the platform's fourth consecutive win, positioning the youth program management tool alongside industry heavyweights like Cisco, LEGO Education, and Canvas for its unique approach to operational intelligence.

The award highlights a shift in how artificial intelligence is integrated into educational software. While many competitors treat AI as a secondary feature, Arly has woven the technology into its core architecture from the start. Its internal guide, known as Compass, functions as a real-time advisor for staff, providing institutional knowledge on tasks ranging from scheduling and compliance to family communication and onboarding.
CEO Lauren Gilbert noted that the platform was designed to adapt to the specific logic of youth programs rather than forcing users to conform to rigid software constraints. By embedding evidence-based practices into the daily workflow, the system aims to democratize expertise, making the knowledge of veteran staff accessible to every team member. Steve Johansson, Managing Director of EdTech Breakthrough, emphasized that Arly’s success stems from its focus on the back-office complexities that generic AI tools frequently overlook, effectively professionalizing the administrative side of out-of-school programming.
