Adecco scales AI recruitment to one million interactions
With over 1.2 million candidate interactions now logged across ten countries, Adecco is shifting its recruitment model from pilot experiments to full-scale automation. The company reports that its specialized AI agents have completed 250,000 interviews, effectively cutting hiring time-to-deliver by half in its primary lead markets.

The deployment spans seven distinct stages of the hiring lifecycle, ranging from initial pre-screening to onboarding and talent pool management. By handling high-volume, repetitive tasks, the technology allows human recruiters to shift their focus toward complex client relationships and candidate placement. Notably, more than half of these AI-driven engagements occur outside of standard business hours, providing candidates with greater flexibility while maintaining consistent service quality.
Beyond simple efficiency, the company has introduced a Redeployment Agent to minimize downtime for workers. The system proactively contacts individuals nearing the end of an assignment to build personalized profiles for future roles, smoothing the transition between jobs. Global CEO Christophe Catoir emphasized that this integration of technology and human touch is driving fill rates above 80% while achieving high customer satisfaction scores. Following a successful year-long trial in Latin America, Adecco plans to further expand this AI-enabled architecture into additional high-growth markets over the coming months.
