Align ENT + Allergy Expands Midwest Footprint with Dual Acquisition

The integration brings two of Southeast Michigan’s most prominent medical groups into the Align network. Michigan Ear Institute contributes a specialized focus on otology and tertiary ear health, including expertise in skull base and facial nerve disorders, while Lakeshore ENT provides a broad clinical foundation with six locations and fourteen physicians specializing in laryngology, sinus surgery, and facial plastics.

Following the merger, the Align platform now supports 80 physicians and 87 audiologists across 47 offices. Dr. Dennis I. Bojrab of the Michigan Ear Institute noted that the partnership provides the necessary infrastructure to scale research and physician training without sacrificing the practice's clinical independence. Similarly, Dr. Adam D. Rubin of Lakeshore ENT emphasized that the administrative support allows the group to maintain its community-based care model while navigating the increasing demand for specialized ENT and allergy services.
