Florida Realtors Awards $226,000 to College Students
Two hundred twenty-six students across Florida are heading into the upcoming academic year with a combined $226,000 in scholarship funding. The Florida Realtors Education Foundation distributed the grants to support residents pursuing education ranging from community college programs to law school degrees for the 2026-2027 term.
The foundation, established by the state Realtor association, selected recipients based on a mix of academic performance, financial necessity, and community involvement. While some students intend to pursue careers in real estate, the funding supports a broad spectrum of academic disciplines at institutions including the University of Florida, Florida State University, and Georgetown University.
Board chair Alisa Rogers noted that the program has now contributed over $3.2 million to more than 2,400 students since its inception 16 years ago. Beyond covering tuition and related expenses, the initiative aims to reinforce the professional organization's long-term commitment to fostering educational opportunities for the next generation of residents.
