CGI and NetApp expand alliance to scale intelligent data infrastructure
CGI and NetApp are deepening their global partnership, integrating NetApp Keystone into CGI’s shared services platform to modernize block storage. By combining NetApp’s intelligent data infrastructure with CGI’s digital transformation expertise, the companies aim to streamline AI initiatives and hybrid cloud management for enterprise clients worldwide.

The expanded alliance utilizes NetApp Keystone, a subscription-based service, to deliver high-performance block storage with built-in security features, including real-time threat detection and recovery. This move is designed to help organizations manage critical workloads across private, public, and hybrid environments, providing a flexible model that adapts to shifting business requirements.
Virginia Williams, Senior Vice-President at CGI, noted that the collaboration focuses on helping clients modernize IT environments to prepare for AI at scale. Alvaro Celis, Chief Partner and Ecosystem Officer at NetApp, added that the unified approach simplifies hybrid cloud adoption while ensuring consistent performance for data-intensive projects. Through this agreement, CGI will manage services on behalf of NetApp, while both firms co-design solutions to address the evolving digital demands of their global client base.
