ECARX Wins Volkswagen Brazil Connectivity Award at The One 2026
At the historic Ilha Fiscal landmark in Rio de Janeiro, Volkswagen Brazil recognized ECARX with the Partnership Connectivity Award during its annual supplier summit, The One 2026. The honor highlights the technology firm's role in advancing the automaker's regional transition toward software-defined, intelligent vehicle architectures in Latin America.
The award follows a rigorous evaluation by Volkswagen Group South America’s procurement and engineering leadership. ECARX secured the top spot by meeting criteria across six core pillars, including the delivery of high-performance digital cockpit hardware and unified connectivity software. Their Antora computing platforms and Cloudpeak architecture now power Volkswagen and Škoda models across the region, integrating native support for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Google Automotive Services.
Ziyu Shen, founder and CEO of ECARX, accepted the trophy during the gala, noting that the recognition reflects the agility of the company's regional teams. Beyond the hardware, the partnership focuses on streamlining integration timelines, allowing for faster vehicle launches while adhering to strict cybersecurity standards.
