FGM Architects Ascends National Industry Rankings
FGM Architects has moved up the national rankings, reaching 67th on Architectural Record’s Top 300 list and 303rd on the ENR Top 500 Design Firms report. These gains, released June 23, 2026, highlight the Oak Brook-based firm’s expanding footprint in the education, municipal, and public safety sectors.

The firm climbed nine spots on the Architectural Record list, up from 76th place the previous year. Simultaneously, its position on the Engineering News-Record ranking improved by 28 spots compared to the 331st position held in 2025. This growth signals a broader reach within the competitive landscape of architecture and engineering.
CEO John Dzarnowski attributed the rise to the firm's focus on client-centered design and the internal dedication of its staff. He noted that while the industry benchmarks validate the company’s performance, the primary goal remains the tangible impact of projects on the communities they serve. As an employee-owned firm, FGMA continues to leverage its technical expertise to secure work across civic and corporate markets, aiming to attract top-tier talent and support complex, long-term infrastructure projects nationwide.
