Nomo Smart Care Launches Retail Expansion in South Florida
For the 53 million Americans balancing professional lives with the care of aging relatives, the challenge of remote monitoring often involves choosing between constant check-ins and intrusive cameras. Nomo Smart Care is now offering a third path, debuting its camera-free, sensor-based monitoring system at three BrandsMart USA locations.

The system monitors daily routines—such as wake-up times, medication adherence, and meal habits—to identify deviations that might signal a health crisis. Rather than relying on invasive video surveillance, the setup uses a network of discreet tags and satellites to track activity. If a fall occurs or a routine is disrupted, the platform transmits real-time alerts to a designated "Care Circle" of family members and neighbors, allowing for intervention before minor issues escalate into emergencies.
David Baer, president of Nomo Smart Care, notes that the technology targets the intersection of safety and independence. By distributing responsibility across a private network, the system aims to mitigate caregiver burnout while providing families with granular updates on a loved one's well-being. The Essential Care Kit is priced at $199.99 and includes a 60-day trial, followed by a $19.99 monthly subscription fee for the service. Interactive displays are now live in Miami and Palm Beach stores, showcasing how the U.S.-engineered hardware processes data through secure, domestic infrastructure.
