The NEURON suite functions as the backbone of this transformation, providing a unified architecture for telco cloud lifecycle management, multi-domain network engineering, and service-aware inventory. By shifting toward intent-driven automation, Sky has reported significant gains in internal performance, including a 30% boost in operational efficiency and a 50% reduction in network change lead times.

According to Laurent Lavallee, Group Director of Networks at Sky, the platform has simplified complex processes and provided the visibility required to maintain a seamless experience for customers. Beyond speed, the deployment addresses critical reliability metrics, cutting network change failure rates by 30% and embedding automated cybersecurity controls across the infrastructure. Tata Elxsi’s CTO for Communication Technologies, Rajagopalan Rajappa, noted that the platform provides a scalable pathway for global operators to resolve the fragmentation issues common in multi-domain environments.
