The new designation at the Richmond, British Columbia site bolsters Skyservice’s existing footprint in Toronto and Montréal, creating a unified coast-to-coast support chain. By integrating certified technicians and mobile repair teams into the Vancouver hub, the company aims to reduce downtime for operators navigating the busy trans-Pacific flight corridor.

Benjamin Murray, President and CEO of Skyservice, noted that the expansion is central to the firm's long-term goal of building an integrated aviation platform. For Bombardier, the move is equally strategic. Anthony Cox, Vice-president of Customer Support, emphasized that regional collaborations remain essential to maintaining the high reliability and safety standards expected by their global client base.
