The Perks Pass platform, powered by Whisp’s mobile opt-in technology, attempts to solve a long-standing disconnect in retail marketing by letting consumers vote on their favorite restaurants and preferred rewards. By integrating into iHeartMedia’s network—which spans live radio, streaming, and podcasts—the project seeks to move beyond traditional loyalty programs that typically leave customers with little influence over business decisions.

Users can currently participate in sweepstakes, including a Hilton Grand Vacations getaway, while providing input that helps brands tailor future experiences. According to Steve Doumar, CEO of Whisp, the platform bypasses the need for traditional apps or forms by using proprietary technology to capture verified opt-ins. Joe Robinson, President of Corporate Development and Ventures at iHeartMedia, noted that the collaboration provides a unique way to bridge the gap between national brands and their audiences through mobile-first engagement.
