Staypineapple Drops Room Rates to Near-Zero for Pineapple Day
For one day only, the boutique hotel chain Staypineapple is slashing room rates by 99 percent. Starting at noon PT on June 27, 2026, travelers can secure stays for as little as one or two dollars at any of the brand’s urban locations across the United States.

The promotion coincides with International Pineapple Day, an event the Kirkland-based company is using to drive engagement through high-speed digital competition. Because the inventory is strictly limited, rooms will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis through the company’s website. Company president Dina Belon noted that the goal is to create an experience that feels both outrageous and aligned with the brand's identity.
For those who miss the primary discount, the hotel group is offering a secondary incentive throughout the remainder of the day. Any reservation made between 12:00 PM and 11:59 PM PT on June 27 will qualify for waived amenity fees. All bookings made during this event are valid for stays through September 7, 2026. Prospective guests are advised to log on at the exact launch time, as the company expects the heavily discounted inventory to disappear almost immediately.
