The centerpiece of the Taiwanese delegation is an AI-equipped bicycle featuring vision sensing and dynamic damping. Developed with guidance from the Department of Industrial Technology, the system utilizes the Cycling Common Protocol Alliance communication standard to link motors, controllers, and batteries. This connectivity allows for real-time adjustments to power assistance and electronic suspension, shifting automatically between leisure and sport modes to enhance stability across varying terrain.

Beyond hardware, the industry is pivoting toward strict environmental mandates. The Bicycling Alliance for Sustainability, which now counts 76 member companies, has achieved an 89% implementation rate for greenhouse gas inventories. To streamline international compliance, the R&D center is introducing an Electric-Assist Bicycle Battery Passport Platform. This tool is designed to help manufacturers navigate the European Union’s evolving battery regulations and digital documentation requirements, reinforcing Taiwan's role as a strategic partner in the global transition toward low-carbon mobility.
