Transit Technologies Moves Headquarters to Charlotte
Transit Technologies is shifting its corporate base from Knoxville to Charlotte, North Carolina, effective July 1. This strategic move aims to bolster the company’s presence as a domestic provider of mobility software, specifically targeting transit agencies and municipalities navigating complex federal funding and procurement requirements for infrastructure modernization.

The relocation to 2459 Wilkinson Blvd aligns the firm with the federal government's Buy America standards, a critical factor for public agencies balancing innovation with strict domestic sourcing mandates. Chief Executive Officer Gerry Leonard emphasized that the move reflects a long-term strategy to provide American-built technology solutions without forcing clients to compromise on deployment speed or regulatory compliance.
Despite the change in geography, Transit Technologies confirmed that service delivery and client support remain uninterrupted. The company provides a suite of software tools centered on AI-driven insights, fleet performance optimization, and operational visibility for airports, universities, and transit systems across North America. By positioning itself in Charlotte, the firm intends to streamline procurement pathways for organizations aiming to modernize their infrastructure while adhering to shifting state and local government priorities.
