Las Vegas Diamond Arena Gains Final Site Parcels for NBA Bid

Securing a final 3.03-acre parcel, the Las Vegas Diamond Arena has completed its primary land acquisition at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Four Seasons Drive. This consolidation establishes a fully entitled, shovel-ready site directly across from Mandalay Bay, positioning the project as a top-tier contender for a future NBA expansion franchise.

The project's infrastructure plans now include a private jet terminal developed by Chetak Development, Inc. located south of the arena. Developers intend to link the terminal to the main venue via an underground tunnel, creating a secure, direct arrival point for players, executives, and VIP guests. Spokesman Tom Letizia described the land assembly as a major milestone that distinguishes the venue from other proposed locations.

The 21,212-seat facility sits within a federally designated Opportunity Zone, offering tax incentives to investors. Its location provides proximity to 20,000 hotel rooms and direct access to the I-15 and I-215 freeways. By operating as a neutral venue unaffiliated with any single casino operator, the project aims to align with the NBA’s broader strategic partnership goals. With the site finalized, the developers are now focusing on regional economic impact, including job creation and the attraction of global entertainment events to the Strip.
