BRAHMA AI and Hakuhodo Partner to Scale Digital Humans in Asia
London-based BRAHMA AI and Japan’s Hakuhodo Technologies have signed a formal agreement to deploy high-fidelity digital humans across the Asia-Pacific region. The partnership aims to commercialize "ATMANs"—lifelike, AI-driven avatars capable of nuanced interaction—for use in enterprise marketing, media, and creative brand storytelling.

The collaboration leverages BRAHMA AI’s proprietary technology, which draws on visual effects expertise responsible for multiple Academy Award-winning films, alongside Hakuhodo’s established market reach. The teams plan to integrate these digital figures into customer experiences and branded content, focusing on the specific cultural requirements of the Japanese and broader APAC markets.
This initiative follows a successful proof-of-concept project earlier this year, where the companies resurrected the likeness of legendary singer Hibari Misora for a BS Nippon TV special. By training AI models on historical footage and audio, the team demonstrated the potential for high-fidelity avatars to perform alongside contemporary artists. Moving forward, the joint venture will focus on scaling these tools for enterprise workflows, aiming to establish a new standard for AI-mediated communication in retail, entertainment, and corporate sectors.
