Formerly with Latham & Watkins, Gray brings extensive experience in high-stakes M&A disputes and federal securities litigation to the global firm’s expanding California practice.

Gray specializes in complex corporate control contests and partnership disputes, representing a diverse client base across the technology, healthcare, and semiconductor sectors. His track record includes appearances in the Delaware Court of Chancery and successful jury verdicts, alongside numerous high-value summary judgment resolutions. Beyond his courtroom practice, he was recognized in the Daily Journal’s 2018 Top 40 Under 40 and received a California Lawyer Attorney of the Year award in 2020.

Bradford D. Kaufman, senior chairman of Greenberg Traurig, emphasized that Gray’s arrival addresses rising demand for sophisticated legal counsel. Susan L. Heller, co-managing shareholder of the Orange County office, noted that Gray’s commitment to community service aligns with the firm’s local culture. Gray, a former president of the Orange County Chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, actively serves on several nonprofit boards, including the Public Law Center and Human Options. He cited the firm’s entrepreneurial platform and collaborative environment as primary drivers for his move.
