Together with Refugees

Together with Refugees is a new coalition of organizations large and small that believe in showing compassion to people fleeing war, persecution or violence. Our members include grassroots, community and refugee groups, international development charities, trade unions and religious groups.

The coalition was founded byAsylum Matters,British Red Cross,Freedom from Torture, Rainbow Migration,Refugee Action,Refugee Counciland Scottish Refugee Council. With the support of people, the organization calls for a kinder, fairer and more effective approach to supporting refugees.

This means standing up for the ability of people to seek safety in the UK, regardless of how they got here. This means ensuring that people can live with dignity while they wait to see if they will be given protection. This means providing refugees with opportunities to rebuild their lives and make a valuable contribution to the life of their communities.
