MindMaze Launches Dual Clinical Trials to Secure European Home-Care Funding
MindMaze Therapeutics has initiated clinical trials in Switzerland and France to validate its neurorehabilitation platform for home-based care. By enrolling patients in the SwissNeuroRehab and REACT-AVC studies, the Geneva-based firm aims to generate the clinical evidence required to secure public reimbursement for at-home stroke recovery across European markets.

The SwissNeuroRehab project, an Innosuisse-backed consortium, involves a CHF 11.2 million effort to evaluate high-intensity therapy protocols across six major clinical centers. The study tracks patients through inpatient and home-based phases, targeting 300 minutes of active training per week. Simultaneously, the REACT-AVC study at Hospices Civils de Lyon focuses on gathering health-economic data to support integration into the French healthcare system.
These initiatives mirror the company's successful U.S. strategy, where established reimbursement codes for at-home utilization have already been secured. CEO Zach Henderson noted that the company is leveraging its existing U.S. data foundation to accelerate its European expansion. By demonstrating the efficacy of its software-enabled platform, MindMaze intends to provide a seamless recovery journey that transitions from acute hospital settings directly into the patient's home, addressing the regional shortage of specialized clinicians.
