Sanyou Bio and Baiyunshan Xihe Partner on AI-Driven Radiomedicine
Sanyou Bio and Guangzhou Baiyunshan Xihe Health Pharmaceutical have signed a strategic agreement to accelerate the development of next-generation radiopharmaceuticals. By merging AI-powered molecular discovery with clinical-grade nuclear medicine manufacturing, the partnership aims to streamline the transition from target identification to therapeutic application in precision oncology.
The collaboration leverages Sanyou Bio’s AI-Super trillion antibody libraries and the SAI-DA drug accelerator to identify and optimize targeting molecules. These efforts will be paired with Baiyunshan Xihe’s established industrial infrastructure, which includes specialized production capabilities for medical radionuclides such as Gallium-68, Zirconium-89, Copper-64, and Rhenium-186.
By integrating upstream molecular design with downstream clinical translation, the companies intend to create an end-to-end innovation loop. This model is designed to bypass traditional bottlenecks in radiopharmaceutical development, significantly reducing the timeline required to advance candidate compounds into preclinical studies and clinical trials. According to Baiyunshan Xihe Chairman Liu Hong, the partnership directly complements their existing pipeline of nanobody-based RDCs and microsphere products.
Sanyou Bio CEO Dr. Lang Guojun emphasized that the synergy between intelligent design and precise labeling provides a fundamental solution to current innovation challenges in the sector. The joint venture represents a significant expansion for both firms as they look to establish a new benchmark for high-quality radiopharmaceutical development within the Chinese market and beyond.
