Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8: Iterative Updates Ahead of July Launch
A week before the scheduled Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22nd, leaked specifications for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 suggest a device that prioritizes internal refinement over a radical design overhaul, mirroring the aesthetic footprint of its predecessor almost exactly.

The upcoming foldable will reportedly abandon Qualcomm hardware in favor of the Samsung Exynos 2600, a direct successor to the Exynos 2500 chip found in the current Z Flip 7. While the exterior chassis remains indistinguishable from the previous model, users can expect a slight functional boost with the introduction of 45W wired charging support. Samsung’s recent promotional teaser tied to Spider-Man: Brand New Day further solidified this visual consistency, showcasing a device design that aligns with the latest reports from WinFuture.
Beyond the processor swap and charging speeds, the hardware specifications remain largely static. The device retains a 6.9-inch internal Dynamic AMOLED display alongside a 4.1-inch external Super AMOLED screen. Configuration options for the base model stay locked at 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. To distinguish the new generation, Samsung is introducing a pale pink colorway to accompany the standard cream and graphite options.
