New Course Targets Nurse Burnout with Resilience Training
Nurses facing chronic workplace stress and compassion fatigue now have access to a new accredited online program designed to prioritize the caregiver's mental well-being. Remarkably Resilient, Inc. launched the course to provide practical emotional regulation strategies, filling a critical gap in traditional continuing education requirements for healthcare professionals.

The program, titled Remarkably Resilient Together (RRT): Regulation and Self-Care for Nursing Professionals, offers 1.5 accredited contact hours through a self-paced, four-module video format. Unlike standard clinical training, the curriculum draws on the neuroscience of trauma and emotional regulation to help nurses manage stress both during shifts and in their personal lives. Participants have 30 days to complete the 90-minute course, which includes resource guides and expert-led strategies for sustaining mental health in high-pressure environments.
Kathleen Harnish McKune, CEO of the nonprofit, stated that the initiative aims to equip nurses with skills to recognize and mitigate the effects of chronic stress. Peer review by APRN Graceann Sandri confirmed that the content addresses the specific demands of burnout and secondary trauma. At $50 per individual, the training is available nationwide, with institutional licensing options available for healthcare systems looking to improve employee retention and overall workplace culture.
