Insight Global Unveils Leadership Team for AI Unit IG Labs
With plans to double its workforce in 2026, Insight Global has unveiled the leadership team spearheading IG Labs, its dedicated unit for enterprise AI services and product development. Managing Director Marcus Bergström, formerly CEO of Vionlabs, leads the initiative, focusing on transitioning organizations from AI experimentation to measurable business outcomes.
Bergström brings eight years of expertise in scaling emerging technology initiatives to his new role. He oversees a multidisciplinary team tasked with integrating technical delivery, product architecture, engineering, and sales. Insight Global CEO Bert Bean described the appointment as a strategic move to combine deep technical proficiency with the company’s established culture of execution.
The newly formed leadership group comprises veterans from IBM, Fortune 500 firms, and high-growth startups. Neeraj Madan joins as Head of Solutions, while Jayesh Patil takes on the role of Head of Product & Architecture. The engineering and delivery functions are led by Vishwanath Maram and Mahesh Krishnan, respectively, with Brendan Haas managing the unit's sales operations. This team holds collective experience across complex sectors including healthcare, finance, and telecommunications.
To meet rising enterprise demand, the organization is actively recruiting for roles such as Senior Forward Deployed Engineers and AI Technical Architects. The expansion underscores a broader shift within Insight Global, which now positions itself as a talent, consulting, and AI firm aimed at integrating artificial intelligence into core business infrastructure.
