The Palm Springs location marks the 27th franchise in California for the organization, which operates over 400 territories nationwide. Castillo, a retired U.S. Navy Senior Chief, and Harris, a veteran educator, moved to the region in 2023 and identified a pressing need for reliable, community-focused elder support. Their decision to launch the franchise was fueled by their own histories of caring for aging family members and a desire to foster intergenerational relationships.

The service model addresses the growing demand for long-term support—a sector the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services estimates will eventually impact nearly 70% of all retirees. By prioritizing the recruitment of active older adults as caregivers, the company seeks to create a reciprocal environment where both the provider and the recipient remain engaged. Namrata Yocom-Jan, president of the franchise system, noted that the pair was selected for their commitment to the brand's mission of providing compassionate, purpose-driven care across Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, and the broader Coachella Valley.
