Truck Parking Club Taps Self-Storage Veteran Sydnie Wilda for Growth
Sydnie Wilda joined Truck Parking Club as Vice President of Property for Self-Storage, moving from an industry insider who used the platform to a key executive. Her appointment aims to convert underutilized self-storage land into a solution for the national truck parking shortage of 1.7 million spaces.

Wilda brings nine years of experience in self-storage operations, underwriting, and third-party management to the Chattanooga-based firm. Her background includes managing a portfolio of approximately 74 properties and serving as a Senator for the Self Storage Association’s Young Leaders Group. Before her hire, she was a direct user of the Truck Parking Club marketplace, having managed listings and bookings for The Storage Manager, which later merged with Anytime Storage Property Management.
CEO Evan Shelley views this transition from user to executive as a strategic asset. By leveraging her firsthand experience with the platform’s reporting and revenue generation, Wilda is tasked with expanding the company’s footprint within the self-storage sector. The company currently manages over 6,100 locations and aims to reach 10,000 by the end of 2026. With more than 50,000 self-storage facilities across the country possessing potentially unused land, the firm sees these sites as a primary avenue for expansion. Wilda will make her debut in the new role at the Toy Storage Nation Storage Redefined Masterclass in Denver on August 14.
