IMPACT Therapeutics Taps Pharmanovia for Global Senaparib Rollout
Shanghai-based IMPACT Therapeutics has secured an exclusive licensing deal with Pharmanovia to distribute its PARP inhibitor, senaparib, across 66 countries. The partnership targets maintenance therapy for advanced ovarian, fallopian tube, and primary peritoneal cancers, marking the biotech firm's first major commercial expansion beyond the Chinese market.

Under the terms of the agreement, Pharmanovia gains exclusive rights to manufacture, develop, and commercialize the drug across the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and regions throughout the Middle East and North Africa. The deal is valued at up to 423.5 million euros, accounting for upfront payments, regulatory and sales milestones, plus tiered royalties on net sales.
This move follows a significant regulatory milestone for IMPACT, as the European Medicines Agency accepted the Marketing Authorisation Application for senaparib in August 2025. Approval in the region is anticipated during the second half of 2026. For IMPACT, which debuted on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange earlier this year, the collaboration serves as a strategic bridge to reach international patients by utilizing Pharmanovia's established infrastructure. Senaparib, a PARP1/2 inhibitor, is already approved and listed on the National Reimbursement Drug List in China for first-line ovarian cancer maintenance therapy.
