Google Pixel 11 Lineup Faces Price Hikes and Hardware Shifts
A fresh leak from Android Headlines reveals that Google’s upcoming Pixel 11 series will carry higher price tags alongside a controversial shift in hardware specifications. Ahead of the August 12 event, the data confirms a $100 increase across the base models, mirroring industry trends toward more expensive, higher-storage entry points.
The base Pixel 11 now starts at $899, though it shifts to 256GB of storage as the new entry-level capacity. Across the board, Google is integrating the Tensor G6 and Titan M3 chips. However, the Pro models—the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL—see their RAM reduced to 12GB. These flagship devices will retail for $1,099 and $1,299, respectively.
Hardware changes extend to the photography suite as well. The standard Pixel 11 reportedly drops the telephoto lens, opting for a dual rear camera configuration. Conversely, the Pro iterations maintain the camera architecture found in the Pixel 10 generation, with display technology remaining largely static. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is also affected by the memory reduction, now arriving with 12GB of RAM and a $1,899 price point.
