Illycaffè Posts Double-Digit Growth in First Half of 2026
Reporting a 19% surge in revenue at constant exchange rates, illycaffè reached €373 million in sales for the first half of 2026. Despite persistent inflationary pressures on raw material costs, the Trieste-based coffee group managed a 10% increase in EBITDA, signaling robust organic growth across its core international markets.

The company’s performance was bolstered by double-digit gains across its primary regions. Italy and the United States both recorded 19% growth, while the broader European market saw a 21% increase. This momentum was supported by a strategic expansion across distribution channels, including significant gains in the Ho.Re.Ca. sector, modern trade outlets, and digital platforms fueled by subscription loyalty programs.
Operational expansion remains a central focus for the group. CEO Cristina Scocchia highlighted the start-up of a new roasting plant in Trieste, a milestone intended to double production capacity. This infrastructure development aligns with a new long-term partnership with Westrock Beverage Company LLC in the United States, aimed at scaling packaging and product development for North American consumers. Despite a 20% spike in green coffee prices, the company successfully offset cost pressures through volume increases and operational efficiency.
