Investors File Securities Class Action Against PROCEPT BioRobotics

Investors who purchased PROCEPT BioRobotics common stock between February 28, 2024, and February 25, 2026, are being urged to join a class action lawsuit. Filed by the Rosen Law Firm, the case alleges that the company misled shareholders regarding its sales practices and inventory levels, leading to significant financial losses.

The lawsuit claims that PROCEPT BioRobotics relied on an undisclosed discount program to incentivize bulk orders, which artificially inflated reported U.S. handpiece sales and revenue. By pulling forward sales, the company allegedly created a surplus of over 10,000 units in field inventory, a glut that eventually caused the firm to miss its 2025 financial guidance. According to the complaint, these practices obscured the company's true operational health from investors throughout the designated class period.

Those interested in serving as a lead plaintiff must file a motion with the court by September 22, 2026. Participation in the litigation does not require out-of-pocket fees, as the firm operates on a contingency fee basis. Investors are not required to serve as lead plaintiffs to remain eligible for a potential recovery and may choose their own legal representation until a class is formally certified.
