Drawing inspiration from the bracing surf of the Celtic Sea, Jo Malone London is expanding its nautical fragrance portfolio with the release of Sea Salt & Bergamot. This fresh, woody cologne aims to capture the raw minerality of the British coast, offering a sharper, water-immersed counterpart to the brand's established scents.
Perfumer Mathilde Bijaoui crafted the composition to balance a bright, citrus-forward opening of bergamot with a heart defined by sea salt. The fragrance settles into a base of driftwood, grounding the lighter top notes in a dry, earthy finish. While the brand’s existing Wood Sage & Sea Salt evokes the stillness of a windswept shoreline, this new addition shifts the narrative toward the active, untamed power of the waves.
The launch serves as a strategic evolution of Jo Malone’s coastal-inspired collection. Consumers can purchase the cologne through the brand's website and physical retail locations beginning in August 2026.
