Captello Debuts Healthcare Provider Database to Accelerate Event Revenue

Seventy-nine percent of event leads never receive follow-up, a gap that costs healthcare firms millions in lost revenue. Captello is addressing this inefficiency by launching an enrichment database covering 6.8 million verified U.S. providers, designed to turn instantaneous badge scans into actionable, NPI-anchored pipeline.

Generalist lead data often fails in the medical sector because it lacks the clinical specificity required for accurate attribution. Without a National Provider Identifier (NPI), correct specialty data, and verified contact information, sales teams frequently struggle to convert event interactions into booked meetings. Captello’s new enrichment layer aims to eliminate this friction by resolving badge scans against a massive repository of 11 million executive contacts and 220,000 physician groups in real time.

By integrating 110 provider-specific fields—including prescribing history, Medicare participation, and EHR system usage—the platform allows marketers to bypass manual data entry. According to CEO Ryan Schefke, the goal is to provide teams with the exact intelligence needed to prove event return on investment. CTO Nassir Jamal noted that the system is designed to be invisible to the user: representatives scan badges as they always have, while the software automatically performs the complex lookup behind the scenes. The database is now available as an add-on for existing Captello users, offering a compliant, multi-step verified solution for organizations currently relying on fragmented, manual lead tracking.
