The company’s net income attributable to stockholders reached NT$ 10.64 billion, a 4.7% increase compared to the same period last year, resulting in an EPS of NT$ 1.38. Chairman and CEO Chih-Cheng Chien noted that total revenue hit a second-quarter record not seen since 2010, underscoring the success of the firm's current growth strategy.

Growth was largely driven by a surge in the International Business Group, which saw revenue jump 78.9% to NT$ 3.93 billion, fueled by large-scale ICT project deliveries in the United States and Southeast Asia. Domestically, the company solidified its market position as mobile service revenue rose 3.2% to NT$ 17.60 billion. With 5G penetration among smartphone users reaching 48.8%, Chunghwa Telecom continues to capitalize on high-speed broadband demand, which saw a 61% increase in subscribers opting for 1 Gbps-and-above services. Looking ahead, leadership remains focused on expanding artificial intelligence and data center capabilities, including the recent launch of the Lunping campus AIDC facility.
