Ring discounts two popular video doorbells
Amazon and Best Buy have slashed prices on two of Ring’s premier home security devices, offering significant savings for both hardwired and battery-powered setups. Shoppers can currently secure the Wired Doorbell Pro for $199 and the Battery Doorbell Plus for $119.99, marking the second-best pricing observed for these models to date.

The Wired Doorbell Pro is currently available for $50 off its standard price, while the Battery Doorbell Plus sees a deeper cut of $60. These promotions bring both devices within $20 of their record-low Prime Day figures. While the two models share core functionality, the choice between them largely hinges on power preference and visual fidelity. The Wired Doorbell Pro captures footage in 4K resolution and features automated visitor responses, whereas the Battery Doorbell Plus utilizes a 2K sensor.
Despite the resolution gap, both units offer a comprehensive head-to-toe view of the entryway, color night vision, and two-way audio communication. Users can expand these capabilities through Ring’s subscription tiers. A $4.99 monthly plan enables granular detection for packages and vehicles, while the $19.99 Ring Pro plan unlocks advanced artificial intelligence, including facial recognition and automated activity summaries. Both doorbells integrate seamlessly with Amazon Alexa, allowing residents to stream live feeds directly to Echo Show displays or receive real-time audible alerts.
