Infor Names Yuka Kanemitsu to Lead Japanese Market Expansion
Yuka Kanemitsu, a technology veteran with over 25 years of experience, has been named President and Representative Director of Infor Japan. Her appointment signals a strategic push by the cloud software provider to deepen its footprint in the region, focusing on AI-driven modernization for asset-intensive industries.
Kanemitsu will spearhead Infor’s regional business strategy, overseeing operations and partner expansion in one of the company’s most critical global markets. Her mandate centers on accelerating the adoption of industry-specific cloud solutions across sectors including automotive, industrial manufacturing, and food and beverage.
Geoff Thomas, Infor’s leadership, noted that the Japanese market is shifting away from general-purpose AI toward technology tailored to specific industry requirements. Kanemitsu plans to address this by integrating Infor’s cloud platform with intelligent automation to enhance operational resilience and supply chain performance.
