Acer Net Income Surges to NT$2.17 Billion in Second Quarter
A 100.2% year-on-year leap in net income marks the strongest post-pandemic performance for Acer. The Taipei-based technology firm reported NT$2.17 billion in profit for the second quarter of 2026, fueled by a diversified business strategy that pushed revenues to NT$85.30 billion during the three-month period.

The company’s latest financial statement highlights significant growth across core metrics, with operating income climbing 142.9% compared to the same quarter last year. Gross profits reached NT$9.70 billion, representing an 11.4% margin. For the first half of 2026, Acer logged a total net income of NT$2.87 billion, a 79.6% increase over the previous year, with earnings-per-share hitting NT$0.96.
Looking ahead, Acer plans to pivot its focus toward hardware innovation. The company is set to host its next@acer global press conference on September 2 in Berlin, where it will debut new AI-integrated PCs, gaming hardware, and lifestyle devices. This event serves as a platform to demonstrate the company's shift toward high-growth segments as it attempts to sustain its current momentum in a competitive global market.
