Evolent Health Reports Q2 2026 Results Amid Strategic Expansion

Evolent Health posted $652.5 million in revenue for the second quarter of 2026, a significant increase from the $444.3 million reported during the same period last year. The company cited robust demand for its specialty care solutions, even as it navigates ongoing industry headwinds and membership attrition.

CEO Seth Blackley attributed the performance to the company's emerging AI-led operational model, which he claims balances clinical outcomes with disciplined cost management. Despite the revenue growth, the company recorded a net loss of $28.4 million for the quarter, though this marks an improvement over the $51.1 million loss seen in the second quarter of 2025. Adjusted EBITDA reached $28.1 million, while the company raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $2.6 billion to $2.7 billion.

Looking toward 2027, Evolent anticipates revenue growth exceeding 25% compared to 2026, bolstered by new partnerships. The company recently finalized an Oncology Performance Suite agreement expected to launch by December 2026, covering 1.5 million lives across 11 states with an estimated $300 million in annualized revenue. Furthermore, a regional Blues plan has expanded its use of Evolent’s technology suite. CFO Mario Ramos noted that these developments, paired with targeted debt reduction initiatives, provide a clear path toward enhanced financial flexibility despite industry-wide challenges in the Medicaid market.
