Wheaton Precious Metals Reports Record Growth in Second Quarter 2026
Wheaton Precious Metals posted record financial results for the second quarter of 2026, driven by a surge in commodity prices and increased production volumes across its portfolio. The streaming company reported $929 million in revenue and $543 million in net earnings, reflecting the robust performance of its diversified asset base.

The company’s performance highlights include record year-to-date production, sales, and operating cash flow, with revenue reaching $1.8 billion for the first half of the year. This growth was bolstered by a 61% increase in the average realized gold equivalent price compared to the same period in 2025. Wheaton’s streaming model proved resilient against market volatility, delivering a cash operating margin of $3,875 per gold equivalent ounce in the second quarter, marking a 65% year-over-year improvement.
Wheaton expanded its financial reach during the quarter by upsizing its revolving credit facility by $500 million to a total of $2.5 billion, extending the maturity to 2031. This liquidity supports ongoing development projects, including the integration of the Antamina silver stream agreement with BHP Group Limited. Despite cost pressures across the mining industry, the company maintained its production guidance, projecting annual output of approximately 860,000 to 940,000 gold equivalent ounces for 2026. Management remains focused on long-term expansion, targeting a 50% increase in production to 1.2 million ounces by 2030.
