Potts Law Firm Files Third Lawsuit Against xAI Over CSAM Allegations
A third civil lawsuit has been filed against xAI in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas, alleging that the company’s Grok platform facilitated the creation of explicit imagery depicting a 6-year-old child using their own authentic photographs.

The complaint, filed by Potts Law Firm on behalf of the child’s guardian, marks an escalation in the legal battle against the technology company. This case, identified as Jane Doe 3 v. x.AI Corp., stems from a broader investigation into a Bentonville photographer already facing multiple felony charges related to AI-generated child sexual abuse material.
Derek Potts, National Managing Partner of the firm, stated that his team anticipates further filings as additional families emerge with similar grievances. The firm argues that developers bear a fundamental responsibility to implement safeguards capable of preventing the misuse of their platforms for digital exploitation. As these legal proceedings progress, they highlight the growing tension between rapid artificial intelligence deployment and the protection of minor safety.
