For A Bright Future Foundation Heads to Miami for October Gala
Following a successful $285,000 fundraising effort in New York City, the For A Bright Future Foundation is shifting its focus to South Florida. On October 1, the organization will host the 'River of Opportunity' gala at Kiki on the River, aiming to secure new resources for its youth-focused educational initiatives.

The event invites regional business leaders, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists to support a variety of programs designed to bridge the gap for underserved students. The foundation’s current roster of initiatives includes scholarship funds, the NextGen Media Creators Lab, the NextGen Finance Lab, and the NextGen Ambassador Program. These efforts provide students with the skills and mentorship necessary to navigate a competitive workforce.
Christina Stubbs, Regional Chair and Board Member, emphasized that the evening serves as a platform to build tangible pathways for young people. Executive Director Joe Braun noted that the foundation views every scholarship as a direct investment in future innovators. With corporate backing from sponsors including Black Dragon Capital, Amerant Bank, and Zubi Group, the foundation hopes to replicate the momentum of its previous NYC event to foster long-term growth for students across the Miami area.
