WuXi XDC Opens First Overseas GMP Facility in Singapore
WuXi XDC has officially cleared its BCM3 production line in Singapore for Good Manufacturing Practice operations. This milestone marks the first time the bioconjugate manufacturer has extended its commercial-scale production capabilities outside of China, establishing a dual-site network designed to enhance global supply chain flexibility for its clients.

The BCM3 facility features a versatile dual-function design capable of handling both antibody intermediates and conjugated drug substances. With batch capacities scaling from 200 liters to 2,000 liters, the site is built to manage commercial-grade manufacturing while maintaining rigorous quality control. The project reached completion in two and a half years, a timeline the company attributes to applying established construction expertise from its Wuxi site to local conditions in Singapore.
Integration between the new Singapore hub and existing Wuxi production lines remains a priority for the firm. By coordinating BCM3 with the established BCM1 and BCM2 lines, WuXi XDC aims to provide a more resilient manufacturing foundation for international partners. The company has already set its next objective, with a drug product filling line, DP4, slated for GMP release by the end of August 2026. This expansion reflects a broader strategy to pair global service reach with localized responsiveness, ensuring that clients can pivot between production sites as market demands fluctuate.
