The centerpiece of the 2027 release is the Rotax 1630 ACE 350 hp engine, which now propels the GTX Limited, RXT-X, and RXP-X platforms. This power upgrade arrives alongside the limited-edition RXP-X Senna 350, a tribute to the late Formula 1 icon Ayrton Senna. For the entry-level Spark family, Sea-Doo is introducing the Rotax 1000 ACE 110 hp engine, a move that increases top speeds by 15 percent across the Spark X and Trixx models. These craft now feature improved power-to-weight ratios and the Intelligent Debris Free (iDF) system for easier maintenance on the water.

Technology and utility upgrades anchor the 2027 pontoon offerings as the Sea-Doo Switch celebrates its fifth anniversary. The 10.25-inch touchscreen display, previously limited to select models, is now standard across all Switch units equipped with 230 and 300 hp engines. Practical refinements include a larger 176-liter fuel tank for 230 hp configurations and an automatic bilge pump system installed across the entire Switch fleet to enhance reliability. According to James Heintz, Director of Global Product Strategy at BRP, these changes aim to blend adrenaline-focused performance with the versatile, family-oriented design that defines the brand’s current trajectory.
