This financial milestone follows the firm's recent receipt of FDA Breakthrough Device Designation, signaling strong investor confidence in its regulatory trajectory. The team plans to initiate clinical testing by the first quarter of 2027, focusing on a solution that remains both cost-effective and surgically reproducible.
The SupraSpacer technology targets a specific gap in orthopedic care. According to Dr. R. Sean Churchill, a shoulder reconstruction specialist on the design team, current treatments often fail to serve younger patients effectively.
