Arxis Finalizes $770 Million Acquisition of Omnetics
Arxis has completed its $770 million acquisition of Omnetics Connector Corporation, a Minneapolis-based manufacturer specializing in high-reliability interconnects for the defense, space, and medical industries. The deal strengthens the industrial compounder’s Electronic Components segment through a strategic partnership with Arcline Investment Management.

The transaction involved the issuance of 13,351,964 shares of Arxis Class A common stock to former Omnetics shareholders, representing approximately 3.1% of the company's total common stock. These shares are currently subject to lockup provisions. Management noted the combined purchase price multiple, including the previous MagCanica acquisition, stands at approximately 12x the estimated adjusted EBITDA for fiscal year 2027.
Omnetics will integrate directly into the Arxis Electronic Components segment, bringing its proprietary Micro-D-Sub and Nano-D-Sub connector technologies to the firm’s portfolio. Arxis officials emphasized that the acquisition leverages the institutional capabilities of Arcline Investment Management, specifically citing research-driven market mapping and proprietary sourcing as key advantages in managing long-duration industrial platforms. William Blair & Company acted as the financial advisor for Arxis, while Vermillion Capital advised Omnetics.
