Sitero Expands Clinical AI Agent Ash Across Data Lifecycle
Clinical research firm Sitero has launched three new agentic workflows for its AI assistant, Ash, aimed at automating study configuration, data management, and portfolio insights. By integrating directly with its GxP-compliant SiteroAI engine, the platform seeks to replace months of manual processing with a governed, human-in-the-loop system.
The expansion covers the end-to-end clinical data lifecycle, moving beyond siloed AI tools to provide a unified data foundation. SiteroAI harmonizes inputs from EDC, central labs, and safety databases, allowing Ash to operate on a consistent, permission-aware view of trial information. According to CEO Sankesh Abbhi, the platform focuses on traceable records and accountable review rather than autonomous decision-making.
Ash for Study Configuration aims to cut setup times from months to weeks by generating structured drafts from protocols, while Ash for Data Management has demonstrated a 75% increase in speed during early deployments with a top-ten pharmaceutical company. The third workflow, Ash for Insights, provides continuous dashboarding for database lock forecasting and portfolio-wide risk visibility. All three modules maintain a strict governance model, requiring human sign-off at every decision gate to ensure compliance with clinical standards.
