Crunch Fitness to Open 30,000-Square-Foot Facility in Algonquin

The upcoming site will debut the company’s Crunch 3.0 design, an architectural shift intended to fuse modern aesthetics with high-functionality training spaces. Beyond standard equipment, the gym will host a dedicated Crunch Reform Pilates studio and a 90–100°F infrared Hot Stuff studio, marking a strategic move to provide specialized training modalities without the typical boutique price point. The facility will also feature comprehensive recovery amenities, including cryotherapy, red light therapy, and HydroMassage beds.

Mike Goodsell, Chief Strategy Officer at Fit Fusion, noted that the expansion is tailored to match the community-focused lifestyle of Algonquin residents. The club serves as a significant milestone for Fit Fusion, which currently manages 11 locations in the Central Region and intends to reach a national footprint of 30 clubs by the end of 2026. Ahead of the winter opening, the franchisee has launched a pre-sale campaign, offering the first 500 members a $1 sign-up deal and their first month free to establish an early local base.
