Sharp Launches Q-SYS Verified Control Plugin for Professional Displays
Integrators can now manage Sharp large-format and dvLED displays directly within the Q-SYS Full Stack AV platform. The new verified plugin, developed alongside Q-SYS and Control Concepts, streamlines the monitoring of power, input selection, and diagnostic status for both current Sharp hardware and legacy NEC professional display models.

The integration aims to simplify complex audiovisual deployments in corporate and educational sectors. By removing the need for disparate control interfaces, the plugin allows technicians to oversee display performance through the centralized Q-SYS ecosystem. Mark Quiroz, senior vice president at Sharp’s Professional Display Division, noted that the move is designed to provide greater efficiency for integrators working within these high-demand environments.
Industry consultants have welcomed the move as a necessary step toward standardizing control protocols. Joey D'Angelo, president of D'Angelo and Associates, indicated that deeper integration with dominant control platforms elevates the overall quality and reliability of programmed AV systems. The plugin is available immediately via the Q-SYS Library, which also provides configuration documentation and a comprehensive list of compatible display hardware.
