Vero Fiber and MontanaSky Merge to Expand Northwest Montana Connectivity

The transaction, which follows Vero’s 2025 acquisition of Montana Digital, seeks to establish a dominant regional provider capable of competing with incumbent telecommunications firms. While the deal remains subject to standard regulatory approvals, leadership from both organizations confirmed that the MontanaSky brand will persist. Current customers are expected to see no immediate changes to support channels or local service teams, though the integration promises increased long-term investment in network capacity.

Sunita Krishna, CEO of Vero Fiber, described the move as a strategic expansion of the firm’s rural infrastructure portfolio. For MontanaSky, the partnership offers a pathway to scale operations that were previously independent. CEO Ryan Bowman noted that the union allows for more aggressive deployment of high-speed fiber to homes, schools, and healthcare facilities. By pooling regional assets, the companies intend to leverage greater financial strength to provide competitive pricing and infrastructure stability for the communities they serve.
