Dover Corporation Targets Cryogenic Market with Leistung Acquisition
Dover Corporation has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Ahmedabad-based Leistung Engineering Pvt. Ltd., a move designed to bolster the Illinois manufacturer’s cryogenic valve portfolio. Following the transaction, Leistung will integrate into OPW Fluid Transfer Solutions, a core unit within Dover’s Clean Energy & Fueling segment.
Leistung specializes in the engineering of globe, check, and control valves tailored for liquefied natural gas and industrial gas applications. The Indian firm has recorded double-digit organic growth over the past three years, fueled by a consistent R&D pipeline and a specialized engineering workforce. By securing this facility, Dover gains a strategic manufacturing hub positioned to benefit from India’s heavy investment in LNG terminals and pipeline infrastructure.
OPW President David Malinas noted that the acquisition enhances the company's ability to serve the Indian market while scaling its global manufacturing footprint in cryogenic technology. The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions and is slated to finalize in the fourth quarter. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
