Richmond Maintenance Leader Named National Industry Legend
Out of more than 1,000 entries submitted nationwide, Brandon Pierce of PRG Real Estate has been named a finalist in the NAA and HD Supply Maintenance Legends program. Recognized for his technical expertise and mentorship, Pierce was honored at the industry's annual Apartmentalize 2026 conference in New Orleans.
Based in Richmond, Virginia, Pierce has spent five years driving the operational standards for PRG’s regional portfolio. Since joining the firm in 2021 as a maintenance supervisor, he has ascended to the role of Assistant Regional Maintenance Director. His work extends beyond day-to-day repairs, as he was recently tapped as a subject-matter expert to help design the national maintenance curriculum for 2027.
The Maintenance Legends program recognizes professionals who demonstrate impact within their communities and teams. Each of the 24 finalists selected this season receives a $5,000 prize package. Kathleen Betz, Chief Operating Officer at PRG, credited Pierce’s rapid career progression to his leadership style and dedication to fostering a supportive culture for both staff and residents. This national recognition highlights a broader company strategy at PRG, which manages a $2 billion portfolio, to prioritize staff development and technical training as the foundation for its residential property management.
