The fund, managed by Redwood Investment Management, currently holds approximately $468.3 million in net assets. Since its inception, CREMX has distributed roughly $69.2 million in dividends to shareholders. Portfolio performance remains stable, with 287 active loans reported as of July 31, 2026, showing an average loan-to-value ratio of 57.5% and an average maturity of 5.5 months. Notably, the firm reports no principal losses on its underlying loans since the fund's launch.

Richard M. Duff, portfolio manager and managing partner at Redwood, attributed the fund's stability to a disciplined focus on short-duration lending and risk management. Alongside the repurchase results, the firm highlighted its second-quarter expansion into Envestnet UMA and SMArtX platforms. This move is designed to simplify the integration of private real estate debt into unified managed accounts, providing financial advisors with broader access to the strategy.
